1. Commitment
The Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia is committed to making its website Turismo Azul — Costa Cálida accessible, in accordance with Royal Decree 1112/2018, of 7 September, which transposes into Spanish law Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.
This accessibility statement applies to the website turismoazul.talleragencia.com during the development phase, and will be updated for turismoazul.turismoregiondemurcia.es upon going into production.
2. Compliance status
The portal is under development. The target conformance level is WCAG 2.2 AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), in accordance with standard EN 301 549 v3.2.1 and Royal Decree 1112/2018.
The portal currently complies partially with the requirements. The full audit with axe-core and Lighthouse will be carried out before going into production (task T-050 of the project plan).
3. Non-accessible content
The following content may present accessibility limitations during the development phase. These limitations will be corrected before the final production deployment:
- Some provisional images may lack adequate descriptive alternative texts. They will be replaced by official images with reviewed
altattributes. - The interactive maps (Leaflet) and the 3D viewer may not be fully accessible via screen reader. An equivalent text alternative will be provided.
- Downloadable PDF documents will be published with an accessible structure (PDF tags, contrast, reading order).
4. Technologies
The accessibility of the portal relies on conformance with the following technologies:
- Semantic HTML5
- WAI-ARIA
- CSS
- JavaScript (vanilla and Alpine.js, without heavy frameworks)
In addition, the portal integrates the inSuit Tools® tool, which provides assistive technologies for people with functional diversity (adapted reading, contrast, keyboard navigation, sign language).
5. Evaluation
The accessibility of the portal is evaluated by means of:
- Automated self-assessment with axe-core and Lighthouse in CI/CD.
- Manual keyboard navigation testing and screen-reader testing with NVDA and VoiceOver.
- Testing with users with functional diversity, planned for the validation phase.
